Do you know her? Can you hear her? Are you listening for her voice?
The Song of the Earth is everywhere; she's all around you; she's everything
you see, hear, taste, feel and smell. She's everything that we are.
We are her and she is us, and she is in us as we are in her.
We are the kiss between Earth and Heaven.
We are the song between sky and ground.
Sing for your life and for the world we are making.

Our intention in The Singer, The Lover and The Song is learning to
listen for and "hear" Gaia's song as embodied in tree, root, rock, leaf,
stream, the land we walk on and the world we inhabit. This path invites
us to use all our senses and intelligence to explore her patterns and
cycles in the web of life. We will become channels for her song as
we open and deepen our connection to our kin in the woods, fields,
skies, the waters and the spirits of the land. Through rhythm and music,
movement and dance, wordlessness and created language, storytelling
and visualization, trance and deep awareness, we will become singers
of Gaia's song and ecstatic lovers of the Earth.
Filling the cup of our souls to overflowing, we will take her song back
to our communities so they, too, can learn to sing her song, mend her
web, and help restore the balance. May the Song of the Earth be
truly heard!
This path welcomes all who feel called to it regardless of previous
magical experience. In this path, Gaia, the earth herself, from the macro to the micro, provides inspiration and is our ultimate reference for creativity, diversity and variations on a theme. Through deep observation and connection with nature, daily journaling, song, movement, and ecstasy we will call on Gaia as muse to awaken and nurture our creative spirits.
The Earth Path, by Starhawk, is highly recommended background reading, and David Suzuki's The Sacred Balance is an excellent supplement. Also, familiarity with Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way will help, but is not necessary.

Deep in our bones we know we are connected to the earth.
Deep in our indigenous souls we feel connected to Gaia.
Deep in our history our ancestors honored the Great Mother.
High above the stars circle.
High above the winds blow.
High above the birds call greeting to the dawn.
Here in the middle we stand at yet another crossroads.

Earth Mystics know the language of the earth as spoken by birds, trees and soil.
Earth Mystics know the value of intuition, silence and observation.
Earth Mystics know Gaia through eyes, ears and the touch of human hands.
This path will focus on learning the language of birds; reading the
daily story of the landscape as told by the beings who live there. We
will meet Gaia with eyes wide open, getting to know her as the living
goddess who inspired ancient myth.
Invisible Allies: Potion Making 101

We are surrounded by invisible powers and presences that want to aid us in our work as Earth healers. Some of these are beings of spirit but many are the most humble of living creatures, bacteria, fungi, protists, the tiny creatures that live in soil and water. They have enormous powers to create fertility and transform toxins. The urgency of these times calls us to ground our magic in practical actions. How can we use all of our powers to heal the Earth and ourselves? In this path we will use our magical tools of trance, visualization and ritual combined with our scientific tools of microscopes and experimentation to get to know our allies and to enlist their help. We will bring together magic and science, using all our ways of knowing to address the complex problems facing humans and the Earth. We will brew potions for fertility and bioremediation, infuse them with magical intention, and observe the results through many lenses of consciousness.
This path is open to campers of all levels of experience
